Why It Matters

For centuries, African women have adorned their heads as an act of reverence, protection, beauty, and power. The headwrap is more than fabric—it’s a statement, a tradition, and a crown. This workshop honors that legacy and invites each participant to carry it forward in their own unique way.

✨ What They're Saying

Every Crowning Glory workshop is unforgettable—and our guests leave feeling radiant, seen, and empowered. Don’t just take our word for it:

“I walked in not knowing how to tie a wrap and left feeling like a queen. This was more than a tutorial—it was a healing space.”
Chanel A., Brooklyn, NY

Her presentation of African head wrapping was extremely eye-opening, specifically her overview of the Tignon laws. Our students were very pleased with the instructional portion of the event where they learned how to tie their own headwraps. The room was filled with smiled and laughter. This was truly a bonding experience. I look forward to collaborating with Touch of A Queen again!
Simone O., Rutgers University

“As someone who always felt unsure about headwraps, this workshop changed everything. I loved learning about the meaning behind the wraps and the names. I felt seen.”
Jasmine M., Atlanta, GA
